You Can’t Take It With You

Landscape 22The conventional wisdom about death is that you can’t take it with you.

By that we meant that you couldn’t take your gold or your cars or your mansions with you to the other side.

But let me pose you a second case. That in the more abundant life that’s in the offing for us, you can’t take it with you.

By that I mean that all our conflictual ways, all our judgments, all our divisive thoughts we can’t take with us to the higher dimensions.

All of that has to be left behind.

It no longer works and people will bring it to us that it no longer works.

All that we can’t take with us is all that keeps us and those around us from peace and joy, bliss and love.

All that we can take with us is all that promotes peace and joy, bliss and love.

What makes it a smooth ride or a bumpy is how much we hold on to that which we can’t take with us.

Let go. Let go. Let go. Life is a process of letting go right now.
